Donald Case, M.D.

Board Certified – Pediatrics – Primary Care Physician (PCP)

I am exited about the explosion of genetics tools to help in diagnosing many disorders. Some of the biggest Challenges I see today are dysfunctional homes and childhood obesity. I take interest in others as a whole person, not just as an illness. Their achievements at school, sports and music are important to me. I feel that my patients are almost like my kids.

I decided to become a doctor at about age 10. My greatest influence was accompanying my grandfather who was doctor on his house calls. My interest in pediatrics grew on me while I did my clinical rotations in medical school. If I wasn’t a doctor I could be a science or history teacher, maybe even a National Park Ranger. I also love music and feel that it refreshes my soul.

I am most proud to have patients who have grown out of my pediatric practice to return as parents. I would like people to know I do my best to keep up on new ways to diagnose problems and new therapies for these problems. Many of our health problems are lifestyle in origin.  Managing fitness, nutrition and diet can prevent many of these problems from occurring in the first place.
